A class suitable for all levels of ability, Male and Female, regardless of experience, or background. Even experienced people will learn something from this class! Modifications will be offered for those with injuries, or limitations.
This class starts with the basics fundamental stretches that you will do in most of our classes, so it will be moderately challenging.
You will learn:
The history and philosophy of yoga, and meditation,
Focused breathing,
Simple anatomy with an emphasis on why you’re different from everyone else,
Exploration of stretching and strengthening,
as well as traditional postures of yoga and Modifications to those postures that can accommodate most.
This beginners series will prepare you to join regularly scheduled yoga classes.
